Fantastic Responsive Maintenance Staff
The maintenance team at Redwood Commons is genuinely excellent, and that's not a word I throw around lightly. David handled ... what turned out to be a pretty strange microwave issue. I got talking to him while he worked and learned he's a cloud engineer by background — which honestly explained a lot. He approached the problem the way a good engineer approaches anything: methodically, hypothesis by hypothesis, without jumping to conclusions or throwing parts at it. He tried a couple of different things, isolated the actual fault, and had it fixed efficiently. Watching someone who clearly knows what they're doing diagnose a problem is a small pleasure, and he made it look easy. Taylor came by twice during my first week. First for a light fixture, then for a leaking dishwasher — both real headaches when you're still trying to settle in. He was fast, clean, and in-and-out without any disruption. I had to leave for one of the visits and came back to a fixed dishwasher and zero mess. That's how it should work, and it rarely does. The property manager came over personally to look at the light situation before we ruled anything else out — wanted to check the sensor first, which was exactly the right diagnostic instinct rather than just assuming a hardware failure. That kind of thoughtfulness up front saves everyone time. Every maintenance request I've put in has been responded to within hours, same day without fail. Polite, competent, professional, no excuses. After 40 years of dealing with apartment maintenance teams across a lot of different places, this is one of the best I've encountered. Fantastic Front Office
Laura and Andre in the front office are the reason this move-in went as well as it did, and I want to put that in writing ... so it actually counts for something. I moved in during a chaotic personal transition. My situation was genuinely in flux — things were changing day to day — and I came by the office probably five times in three days, each visit with a slightly different story and a new set of questions. That's annoying for anyone on the receiving end. Laura handled every single visit with patience and grace. She never made me feel like a burden, never seemed exasperated, never rushed me out the door. She just worked through whatever the latest version of my situation was and helped me figure out the next step. I showed up frazzled and unshaven more than once, clearly running on fumes, and was met with kindness every single time. That kind of patience under repeated chaos is rare and it mattered to me more than she probably knows. Andre is the institutional memory of this place. Every weird lease question, every odd piece of building trivia, every "is this allowed?" or "how does this work?" — he has the answer immediately. Questions that other places would have bounced around for days got resolved on the spot. He's clearly been doing this a while and he genuinely seems to enjoy the puzzle of it. Beyond the competence, both of them are just genuinely pleasant company. They offered me snacks and sodas every time I came in, asked how things were going, made small talk that felt real instead of performative. After a stressful few weeks, walking into that office became something I actually looked forward to rather than dreaded. That's a remarkable thing for a leasing office to pull off. Great Staff!
Maintenance crew member David came over the other day for a routine annual fix & really went above and beyond in noticing ... that I needed new stove burner covers. I didn't even know those were provided by the complex and mine were getting pretty gross. What a great catch David! All of the staff has just been so amazing in accommodating all my ADA requirements and even dreams by installing multiple grab bars in the bathroom, an entry ramp and even bumper guards on all of the corners of the apartment while I'm learning how to use my new mobility chair. The folks in the office have been very patient and kind with my requests. They treat me like a real human being instead of person with disabilities. I'm so appreciative!!! Thanks so much! Being disabled, I appreciate, not only the comforts of my apartment, but the consistent care put forth by the maintenance crew...maintaining a beautiful setting outside as well...and repairing anything and everything, in a timely and complete manner. Great place!
I love this place. Close to stores, Washington square mall. I love how every time a place a work order, maintenance take ... care of it right away. Never had to give them a reminder. It's very quiet here. Plenty of parking! But was a lil dissapointed that not very much after living here, they started doing construction. And with the bad news that we all have to move out. The place was beautiful when I move in, beautiful landscape, small ponds, etc... Then it got pretty crappy with the construction. The only reason I gave 3 stars in amenities, is because, I dont have time to use the gym at my time convenience. It's close before I go to work and it's close when I get back from work. On my days off, its hard to use it, since I have errands to run and Im gone most of the time. I suggested a key for residents, but never happened. Also last summer, was my first summer here, they were working on the pool, was close for most of the summer. Didn't enjoy it much. So for that it was a low rating. I just want to say how much I appreciate the maintenance men here at my complex. Last night my smoke alarm decided to start ... beeping around 7 pm. Since I am 69 years old and not allowed to climb anything (my bones are very brittle) I had to call the emergency maintenance number to see f they could stop the beeping. Within the hour one of our maintenance guys was here to put in a new smoke alarm! I knew it wasn't a real emergency, but I knew I would not get any sleep if someone didn't help me. I have lived here 5 years and have always gotten prompt service The office staff is also very friendly and helpfull. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a nice, quite, place to live. All in all I really enjoyed living here! The staff has always been very helpful and efficient. When a work order is put ... in the maintenance team typically takes care of right away and the office staff follow up with a phone call to make sure you are satisfied with results! The amenities include a gym with weights and cardio equipment and a wreck room that has a pool table, along with a pool and hot tub. We have the one bedroom with loft and nice fireplace, I love this loft it has vaulted ceiling's and really opens up the apartment. Thankfully we have a washer dryer inside the apartment some apartments come with this luxury! I wrote this and appreciation to the staff making this place what it is. Thank you! Fantastic place to call home, I moved here about 6 months ago and it has been fantastic, I work from home so I see / experience / enjoy the complex a lot. I was worried moving into a bigger complex like this, however all the worries were for nothing. The management here has been amazing, they have addressed any maintenance issue I have had very swiftly, I might just have a optimum spot but I hardly ever hear any other tenants. I have lived @ Redwood Creek for about 6 months and my experience has been great. The complex is spacious and filled with beautiful nature! All of the neighbors are very friendly. The staff in the office and maintenance has been nothing but kind and extremely helpful. The location is wonderful for being in beaverton, super close to the mall, grocery store, gas station, fast food and anything else you may need.
